Breathedge 2 Map and Locations Guide
Navigate the Breathedge 2 map from the starting train through the Outskirts and DEPOT to the 10G antenna, Signal Jammer facility, and optional landmarks.

Navigate the current Breathedge 2 map as one Chapter 1 route: use the crashed train as home, finish the Station Outskirts objectives, follow the communications chain into DEPOT, repair Service Warmers, continue to the 10G antenna, take three jammer readings, and enter the Signal Jammer facility. The game does not provide dependable coordinates for every object, so this guide organizes locations by progression gate, visible landmark, and the objective that makes each area useful.
Read the map by progression stage
The most reliable mental map is not a compass direction copied from somebody else's screenshot. It is a sequence of safe hubs and objective gates: crashed train → Station Outskirts → communications route → DEPOT → 10G antenna → jammer search → facility and shuttle. Your approach angle changes as you circle wreckage, but the journal stage and large structures remain useful.
Before leaving a safe point, pin one objective and note a visible return landmark. At the destination, turn around and identify the same route from the opposite direction. This prevents a successful repair from becoming a failed return trip when oxygen or temperature begins to fall.
Treat demo-era directions cautiously. The Early Access route, item placement, and tool rules have already received official changes. If a video points to a pile or interaction that no longer exists, compare its build with the patch tracker before expanding the search.
Use the crashed train as the home marker
The crashed train and its station platform form the opening safe hub. Babe, Sui, crafting, storage, the generator, phone booth, roof pantograph, and the train's damaged systems all sit in this cluster. Learn the train's long silhouette and platform shape before making wider loops; they are easier to recognize from a distance than a small quest marker.
Complete the power and train-repair sequence before interpreting every frozen device as a separate problem. Restored power changes nearby interactions and makes the train a stable departure point. The beginner guide covers the exact opening order, while the Interphone guide handles the two-stage material prompt that often stops progression.
Clear the Station Outskirts loop
The closest optional route connects the station-side broken antenna and the Attendant structures. The broken antenna lies to the left of the train-platform area; its two Antenna Debris pieces remain nearby. The Attendant body is below its platform, the head is around the starting benches, and the small arm is by the metal bridge near blue machinery.
These are useful early objectives because their landmarks teach the immediate area without requiring a long oxygen route. The focused antenna guide prevents confusion with the distant main-story antennas, and the Attendant guide narrows the three part searches.
Yellow pipes below the station lead toward the gas-lamp and snowman area. The Outskirts train, its red CAB DOOR, and the painted code landmark sit on a wider loop. Record these places when first seen, but return later if warmth, oxygen, or the required interaction is missing; discovery does not mean the task is ready.
Follow the communications route instead of one direction
After the train is stable, the main story moves through antennas, pods, a beacon, and a probe. Follow the journal in order rather than flying toward whichever antenna is most visible. Antenna Debris used by the small station quest is not interchangeable with a component named for a later story objective.
The communications route eventually produces New Coordinates. That wording is the handoff to DEPOT. If the journal still names an antenna, beacon, or probe, finish that active step before searching the frozen industrial region for a marker that has not been enabled.
PornHubble, Taxi structures, the oxygen station, police signage, buses, toilets, statues, wrecks, and training objects can all serve as orientation points. Some support objectives or achievements, but they should not replace the pinned story destination. Save optional exploration for a return trip unless the interaction sits directly on the current safe route.
Navigate DEPOT through the Service Warmers
DEPOT is best read as a thawing route rather than a single room or switch. First satisfy the Cold Protection requirement shown by the journal. Then repair the marked Service Warmers until Ambient Temperature reaches 100%, checking each newly opened passage after the percentage changes.
Cold Protection and Ambient Temperature are separate gates. Improving the suit helps you survive the region; it does not complete the heating objective. Likewise, repairing one warmer does not prove that the area is finished. Use the current repair panel for materials and the live percentage for progress.
If the route seems to end, return to the last warmer that changed the environment and inspect the melted area around it. The Service Warmers walkthrough explains the heating loop, material planning, and the nearby Foreman encounter without presenting an unverified coordinate map.
Continue from the 10G antenna to three readings
After DEPOT, follow the later antenna objective. At 10G, Hotfix 0.8.6 fixed rapid ice removal failing to count; 0.8.11 counts petals at 80% open and corrects the hinge-material display. The 10G antenna checks help identify the unfinished interaction before you move on to the readings.
The later jammer search requires three strong readings. One successful reading does not reveal the complete route. Take each point in the order provided, verify that the counter or objective changes, and only then follow the new direction. This keeps an optional structure from being mistaken for the missing second or third reading.
Enter the jammer facility and shuttle route
The jammer facility is objective-gated. A door, airlock, console, or power interaction may remain inactive when the previous reading or interior step did not register. Check the exact journal verb before spending tool durability or searching outside for an invented code.
Inside, complete one named interaction at a time. The later shuttle stage accepts alkaline solution only after the filling objective appears. Obtaining a similar-looking item early, reaching the shuttle from another angle, or opening the area before the journal is ready does not skip that gate.
After filling the shuttle, keep the quest pinned through the parasite and jammer sequence. The current route ends after the jammer retrieval and final activation; it does not lead to an unmarked Chapter 2 area. Side activities remain available separately on the same save.
Revisit optional landmarks without losing the route
PornHubble is a useful example of why the installed build matters: Hotfix 0.8.7 corrected a missing Debug PornHubble marker, while 0.8.8 made its grate a Cutter interaction. The Cutter guide explains that current rule. A correct location with the wrong tool or inactive objective will still look broken.
At the statue and Taxi landmarks, Patch 0.8.10 changes mud markers and Latin American Spanish letter placement, not their map positions. It also fixes getting stuck in Chuck's Taxi niche and the white toilet door. Use the patch guide for those interactions before treating a familiar landmark as misplaced.
Fix a missing marker before searching farther
When a marker disappears, first read the complete objective text and confirm that the preceding interaction registered. Then revisit the last device, allow dialogue or animation to finish, and compare the installed build with the named patch fix. Only widen the search after those checks.
The location baseline remains build 0.8.2. Named patch impacts, including the 10G opening rule, were reviewed through 0.8.11 on October 2, 2026. This review updates interaction advice while keeping the older hands-on location verification separate.
