The Attendant body is below a nearby station platform, the head is around the benches beside the starting train, and the arm is at the small metal bridge next to blue machinery and three orange balls. Restore station power, collect all three parts, and return them to the Attendant platform. Completion grants the Attendant achievement and a permanent Physical Protection +2 bonus.

Start the Attendant quest

Look to the left side of the starting train-platform area for the damaged Attendant structure. Approach and inspect its assembly point so the objective registers the missing body, head, and arm. If the unit appears frozen or inactive, complete the generator and pantograph power sequence first.

Keep the train visible while beginning the search because every part is tied to nearby station landmarks. You do not need to follow the distant main antenna route. Leave three inventory spaces open so each component can be carried without dropping useful materials.

Find the Attendant body

Search below the nearby station platform rather than on its main walking surface. Approach the underside slowly and look for a large component that reads as the Attendant's torso or body. Use the platform edge as the reference point and circle underneath if the first angle hides it.

Collect the body and look back toward the train before moving to the next part. Because this is the largest component, it confirms that you are searching the correct local structure. If the item does not highlight, verify the quest was activated at the assembly point.

Find the Attendant head

Return toward the starting train and inspect the area around the nearby benches. The head sits among ordinary station clutter, so search at bench level and along their edges. Move slowly enough for the interaction prompt to distinguish it from scenery.

Do not expand the search to distant wrecks. The phrase “near the starting train” is the useful boundary for this component. A fresh approach from the train door often gives a clearer view than circling randomly in open space.

Find the Attendant arm

Locate the small metal bridge beside the blue goo-like machinery and three orange balls. The arm rests just off or along the bridge edge and looks like a tiny forearm with a hand. It is the easiest part to miss because its scale and color blend into the structure.

Stop accelerating and scan the bridge edge from several close angles. Watch for the pickup prompt rather than expecting a conspicuous quest glow. If the blue machinery and orange balls are not visible, return to the station and relocate the correct bridge before searching more widely.

Reassemble the Attendant

Bring the body, head, and arm back to the original Attendant platform. Interact with the assembly or repair point and allow the completion sequence to finish. Confirm that the achievement and protection reward register before leaving.

Physical Protection +2 is a practical early bonus, making this side quest worth completing before longer or more dangerous routes. The reward does not remove the need for health management, but it makes incidental physical damage less punishing. Store unrelated materials before the search so no part is left behind for inventory space.

Fix an inactive or incomplete quest

If the Attendant cannot be used, restore the generator battery and raise the train pantograph. If one part fails to register, compare the inventory with the exact tracker count and revisit that part's landmark. A similar piece of scenery will not satisfy the objective even if it resembles a robot component.

For the arm, tighten the search around the small bridge instead of following the blue machinery outward. For the head, stay with the train-side benches; for the body, remain below the nearby platform. These boundaries solve most searches without consuming a full oxygen bar.

Make the search safer

Carry a repaired basic tool, a modest emergency supply, and little else. The parts themselves do not require a broad gathering run, and a light inventory keeps the route simple. Return to the train whenever oxygen reaches your normal safety threshold.

Search each zone only once

Divide the quest into three bounded searches instead of drifting between landmarks. Complete a slow circle below the platform, a bench-level pass beside the train, and an edge-level pass along the metal bridge. If a component is absent, confirm activation and power before repeating the same zone.

Carry each found part directly back or keep all three in clearly available inventory slots. Avoid harvesting common clutter during the search because it obscures the part count. The quest becomes predictable when every component is tied to one distinct height, structure, and visual landmark.
