Editorial and Verification Policy

Breathedge 2 Wiki is an independent, fan-made guide. Our goal is to answer a player's question with a route, requirement, location, or status that can be checked in the current public game—not to turn trailers, store copy, or community predictions into facts.

How gameplay guides are checked

Quest, resource, crafting, achievement, and map instructions are checked against the playable Steam build whenever possible. We record the game build and review date on each article because object placement, recipe costs, triggers, and rewards may change during Early Access.

A guide is not considered verified merely because the same claim appears on another website. The important steps must match the objective tracker, interaction prompt, workstation recipe, achievement response, or another observable result in the game. When the current build disagrees with an older guide, the game takes priority.

How changing facts are sourced

Release status, platforms, system requirements, language support, achievements, developer information, and roadmap claims are checked first against the official Breathedge 2 Steam page and dated communication from RedRuins Softworks or HypeTrain Digital. Platform-holder listings are used for PlayStation, Xbox, Steam Deck, and other platform-specific claims.

Prices, review totals, compatibility badges, and patch versions can change quickly. We either include a clear verification date or direct readers to the current store listing instead of presenting a temporary value as permanent.

Released, planned, and unconfirmed

The site separates three states. Released means a feature is available in the public build and can be tested. Planned means it appears in a first-party roadmap or announcement but is not yet playable. Unconfirmed means no dated first-party source currently establishes the claim.

A trailer can demonstrate intent without proving that a feature has shipped. Likewise, a store page or wishlist entry can confirm a platform plan without confirming a release date. We do not create walkthroughs, recipes, or location pages for systems that players cannot use yet.

English and Spanish editions

English is the factual baseline for new research, and every public Wiki route has a corresponding Spanish page. Spanish pages are localized for natural player-facing language rather than translated word for word. Game names and item terms remain consistent where no confirmed Spanish term is available.

When a factual correction affects both editions, both pages should be updated together. Each language keeps its own metadata, headings, direct answer, and internal links so readers stay within the selected language.

Corrections and update process

Every guide displays its last review date and verified game build. After a major patch, we compare the official notes with affected quests, recipes, achievements, platform information, and save behavior, then retest the relevant instructions before changing their status.

To report an error, email [email protected] with the page URL, game build, platform, exact objective text, and the step that differs. Screenshots are helpful when they show the current interaction prompt or recipe panel. Corrections are evaluated against the current public build before publication.

Independence and media

Breathedge 2 Wiki is not affiliated with RedRuins Softworks, HypeTrain Digital, Valve, Sony, Microsoft, or other rights holders. Editorial decisions are made for guide accuracy and player usefulness. Official links are identified as external sources, and no publisher announcement is treated as an independent hands-on test.

Original screenshots and annotations may be added when they materially clarify a route or location. We do not copy another guide's prose, tables, or annotated maps, and we do not hotlink competing sites' images.
