Update Breathedge 2 to Patch 0.8.11 if 10G antenna petals are not counting or the Easy-difficulty cold-resistance quest stays active at 100: petals now register at 80% open, and that cold objective now completes at 100 instead of incorrectly requiring 130. The September 29 patch also addresses station wiring, Taxi inspection, dialogue deaths, recycler processing during sleep, and missing status displays after loading.

Choose the check that matches your stalled objective

Start with the exact journal line and installed version. An ice-removal step, a petal-opening step, and a hinge repair are different interactions even when they happen at the same antenna. Use this table to choose the shortest useful retry rather than replaying the whole communications route.

Make the 10G petals count

Patch 0.8.11 changes when the 10G antenna petals register: they now count once opened 80%. That number describes petal opening, not the percentage of the entire communications quest. Return to the movable sections, complete the opening interaction, then check the journal before moving to another antenna.

The same patch corrects the hinge's resource-requirement display. Inspect the hinge again after updating and gather the displayed package. This is a display correction, so use the current panel to plan supplies instead of assuming a new universal recipe.

For an ice-clearing stall, Hotfix 0.8.6 already addressed rapid ice removal failing to count at 10G. Keep that historical issue separate from the newer opening threshold. The 10G antenna troubleshooting guide gives a stage-by-stage check so a petal problem does not become an unnecessary material search.

Cold protection is 100 on Easy, heating is 100%

On Easy difficulty, the quest that asks for cold resistance of 100 previously waited until 130. The developer now says it completes at 100. If you reached the stated target on an older build, update first and inspect the active cold objective before collecting more insulation.

Check the value on your character and the difficulty setting together. This fix explicitly concerns Easy; use your current journal for the requirement on another difficulty. If the number already meets the target but the task remains active after updating, record those two screens and the installed build for a reproducible report.

The DEPOT heating chain uses a separate Ambient Temperature 100% objective. Suit resistance helps you enter cold areas; Service Warmer repairs raise ambient temperature. Follow the Service Warmers guide for that repair loop instead of spending more insulation on a heater percentage that has stopped moving.

Retry station wiring and complete real Taxi inspections

The patch names a quest involving plugging wires in at the station. Read the current station objective, approach the matching connection, and wait for its interaction and journal update before leaving. If your Interphone repair is at a material-submission stage, complete that displayed package first; the short official description does not identify every station wiring task.

Taxi inspection also changed. Opening and closing the same element repeatedly could previously satisfy the inspection quest; that shortcut has been fixed. Work through the different inspectable elements requested by the live task and check the counter after each one.

This is separate from placing alphabet letters on the Taxi sign. The letter-placement correction for Latin American Spanish belongs to 0.8.10. The side quest hub keeps the surrounding optional activities together without treating an inspection counter as an Alphabet search.

Recover after a dialogue death

The announcement separates two dialogue problems. Death during an active conversation could interrupt it and block progression; 0.8.11 fixes that general condition. Death during the jammer's conversation could make its later playback retain a processing effect; that audio condition receives its own fix.

After updating, identify whether the remaining problem is the journal or the sound. For a stopped task, resume from the last confirmed objective and check the next required interaction. For affected playback, compare the conversation you hear with the current quest state rather than repeating unrelated repairs.

The Signal Jammer walkthrough covers the facility and final activation. Approach a conversation with enough health and oxygen to finish it, and let it settle before leaving. The Baby's dialogue when activating the relax room also now begins after a delay, so allow the conversation to start before treating silence as a failed interaction.

Check the engine explosion, recycler, and equipment display

Flying far from the engine at the moment it exploded previously failed to count toward its quest. After updating, complete the tracked engine interaction and check the journal once the explosion sequence settles. Use the new objective to decide the next destination; the announcement gives no distance to measure.

Sleeping now correctly accelerates food processing left running in the recycler. Start the processing job, confirm it is active, then check its progress after sleeping. Compare the same job before and after the rest; the note supplies no new processing rate or guaranteed completion time.

If the Crowbar's bone handle looks unchanged after breaking or replacement, inspect it again on 0.8.11. That visual-update issue was corrected. Splitting an item stack also now updates its quick-access quantity correctly; check both the inventory stack and shortcut before assuming supplies disappeared.

Read negative statuses after loading

Debuff statuses previously failed to appear on the panel after loading a save. On 0.8.11, check the status panel immediately after loading, especially before a long oxygen run. A previously empty panel could have hidden an active penalty, so plan the return trip using the displayed state and remaining supplies.

Cop robots now respawn after being killed. When revisiting a cleared police area, look for renewed threats before committing to a long interaction or gathering stop. The survival guide explains how status penalties and a safe return route affect that decision.
