Breathedge 2 Foreman Test: Answers and Repair Steps
Pass the Breathedge 2 Foreman test with all three answers, find the sparking robot, prepare its repair materials, and get the nearby Service Warmer working.
On this page+
Pass the Breathedge 2 Foreman test by choosing fast and cheap work, wearing a hard hat when inspectors appear, and holding meetings every hour. First discharge the sparking robot, repair it with the documented package of Metal ×4 and Electronics ×3, then complete its dialogue test. Passing lets the Foreman repair the Service Warmer beside him, so return to the heating objective afterward.
All three Foreman test answers
Use the meaning of each question to find the corresponding answer. The table reproduces the short English game choices with censored profanity; match the wording on your screen rather than an option number.
| Question topic | Choose this English answer | Meaning to recognize |
|---|---|---|
| How to work | Fast and cheap as f*** | Speed and low cost |
| Wearing a hard hat | The goddamn inspectors show up | Only when inspectors arrive |
| Meeting frequency | Every f***ing hour | Hold meetings hourly |
For the last question, choose the hourly meeting answer even if another option sounds like a better workplace joke. Read the whole line before confirming. Keep this table open before starting the conversation so you can check each choice without leaving the interaction halfway through.
In Spanish or another interface language, use the rightmost column to match the intended answer. The English lines identify the choices; they are not a promise that every localization uses identical wording. If your question concerns a different subject, reread its prompt before selecting a response from memory.
Where to find the Foreman
Look for the sparking repair robot beside a Service Warmer, along the heating route toward the third antenna and memorial area. This landmark pair is more useful than searching for every robot in the region: the nearby warmer is the object the Foreman will repair after calibration. Approach from the warmer route you are already opening.
The yellow construction platform is a second visual clue described in launch-week coverage. Use the platform, electrical sparks, and adjacent heater together to identify the encounter. A yellow structure alone is too broad a match when you are moving through industrial debris.
If you are already repairing heaters, make this a stop on the same trip. Pin the current objective, note the last working warm area, and keep that landmark in view on your approach. The Service Warmers guide explains the wider temperature loop and the difference between environmental warmth and suit protection.
Discharge and repair the robot in order
The documented sequence starts with the robot's electrical fault. On the default mouse-and-keyboard controls, the walkthrough uses M2 to discharge it before handing over materials. With rebound controls or a controller, use the equivalent action shown by the interaction prompt.
- Approach the sparking Foreman and target its interaction point.
- Complete the discharge action, then reopen the robot's repair interaction.
- Check the material requirement and submit the repair package.
- Continue into calibration and answer the three questions above.
- Let the conversation finish, then inspect the adjacent warmer and heating progress.
| Material for the documented repair | Quantity to reserve |
|---|---|
| Metal | 4 |
| Electronics | 3 |
Reserve these stacks before spending materials on another tool or nearby repair. They are a single repair package, separate from the costs of other Service Warmers. Compare the requirement on the Foreman's own panel before adding supplies for the rest of the route; the resource index helps identify the materials you still need.
Read the repair panel without overpacking
Some older articles quote a larger Metal and Electronics bill. The two independent guides linked below disagree about that total, so this page uses the explicit 4 Metal / 3 Electronics repair entry rather than combining incompatible estimates. If your panel differs, its required quantity determines what to gather for that interaction.
Before leaving, distinguish the amount you carry from the amount requested. For example, having a large Metal stack in inventory does not make that stack the cost of the robot. Record each required amount, subtract what you already hold, and gather only the shortfall plus the supplies needed to return safely.
After submitting the package, look at the new objective before paying for anything else. If calibration is available, begin the test. If the interface still requests a repair, check whether the previous submission registered and which interaction is selected. This prevents spending another full gathering trip on a dialogue step.
Prepare for the cold before starting the test
Bring enough oxygen for the outward journey, the repair, the conversation, and the return. Refill at your last safe stop rather than starting a long dialogue with an almost empty reserve. Keep survival consumables accessible and leave room for any materials still required by the active repair.
Launch-week coverage warns of cold around this encounter. Check your protection and identify the route back to warmth before you activate the robot. If the area is already draining your survival reserves quickly, prepare at the train before beginning calibration.
On Easy difficulty, the official 0.8.11 patch makes the cold-resistance objective complete at 100, correcting the older 130 requirement. That is a character resistance value; the Service Warmer objective measures Ambient Temperature as a percentage. Passing the Foreman's test handles his local warmer, while the wider heating task still depends on its own progress.
What to check if the test or heater stays incomplete
| What you see | Next action |
|---|---|
| Sparks and no repair submission | Complete the discharge interaction first |
| Repair panel still open | Compare required materials with your inventory and submit them |
| Three dialogue questions | Use the answer table, matching meaning rather than position |
| A failed answer or interrupted test | Read the resulting journal state and available interaction before attempting calibration again |
| Dialogue finished but heating remains active | Inspect the Foreman's warmer, then continue the remaining heater markers |
A wrong answer is reported to fail the test. Before the first attempt, preserve a safe save if your game allows it. After a failure, inspect the actual available actions: this guide does not assume every save restores the same repair or retry state. Check that state before committing more materials.
Completion is easiest to assess through the robot's response, its warmer, and the journal together. Once those advance, return to the Chapter 1 route. If temperature still needs to rise, continue the heating chain from the last opened area rather than repeating answers that already passed.

Reviewed October 19, 2026 against Neoseeker's Foreman walkthrough and FandomWire's test coverage. Both document the answer meanings; Neoseeker supplies the discharge order, smaller repair package, and warmer outcome. The guides' repair-cost disagreement is explained above.
The official 0.8.11 announcement supplies the Easy cold-resistance correction. This is an editorial source review with patch context through 0.8.11, not a fresh in-game replay. The preparation checklist and symptom table organize those facts into a usable visit plan. Find other nearby activities in the side quest hub.
