How to Unlock the Alphabet Achievement in Breathedge 2
Unlock the Breathedge 2 Alphabet achievement by searching the Taxi sign area, finding scattered letters, avoiding demo routes, and checking the live prompt.

Unlock the Breathedge 2 Alphabet achievement by reaching the Taxi sign during the current Chapter 1 route, collecting its missing letters from the immediate surrounding area, and returning them to the sign when the game shows the placement prompt. Do not search the single demo-era pile: Hotfix 0.8.7 confirms that the letters are intentionally scattered within roughly 20 meters of the Taxi sign. Keep the related objective active so you can tell a real letter interaction from ordinary scenery.
Reach the Taxi sign with the right objective
The Alphabet achievement belongs to the Taxi sign activity in the later explorable area, not the opening train-station repairs. Follow the current main and side-objective markers until the Taxi structure is available, then inspect the sign before beginning a wide search. The missing-letter state and its interaction prompt confirm that you are in the correct place.
Do not confuse this task with every letter-shaped object or advertisement in the region. The target is the Taxi sign that accepts the relevant pieces, so the sign itself is your first and best landmark. Returning to it between finds prevents a collection run from drifting into another unrelated location.
If the sign has no missing-letter state, check the active journal and any prerequisite interaction around the Taxi area. An achievement guide cannot replace a quest trigger that has not appeared in your save. The map guide can help you identify the broader landmark route without claiming a fixed coordinate.
Why demo videos send players the wrong way
The official 0.8.7 note explicitly says that Taxi letters are not bugged: their locations changed from the demo, and they are now scattered around the Taxi station instead of placed together. This is a useful correction for players who reach the old location and assume the game failed to spawn a collectible. A launch-week video can be visually accurate about the sign while still being wrong about the individual pickups.
Start from the sign and search a controlled radius rather than flying toward an old screenshot. The official clarification gives a practical scale of about 20 meters, which is small enough for a systematic loop. Check beneath reachable platforms, around supports, close to nearby structural edges, and on the return path to the sign before expanding farther.
The patch note does not promise one permanent letter-by-letter coordinate list. Treat an item prompt as confirmation, not a thumbnail or a description from another language build. This approach remains useful if future updates move the pieces again.
Search the Taxi area systematically
Make one slow circle around the sign at its current height, looking for a clearly interactable letter rather than opening every container. Then repeat the circle slightly above or below the first path so platform undersides and ledges are not missed. Use the sign and one prominent support as constant visual anchors to avoid searching the same side twice.
After finding a piece, return to the sign and test the placement prompt when it is safe to do so. This confirms that the object belongs to the achievement and reduces the chance of carrying an unrelated item across the area. If the game accepts it, the remaining state at the sign is more reliable than memory for tracking progress.
Do not convert the search into a maximum-distance scavenging trip. The official note's radius means an object far beyond the immediate station is unlikely to be the intended missing letter. If the search grows larger than that, recheck the quest state, the sign, and every nearby layer before assuming a distant spawn.
Use prompts, not guessed letter names
Some independent reports name individual letters, but exact naming and placement are not the strongest facts to build a durable route around. A live item label and the Taxi sign's placement interaction tell you whether a pickup belongs to your current save. This matters more than trying to reproduce a sequence from a different recording.
Approach each candidate object until the interaction prompt appears. If there is no prompt, leave it alone and continue the systematic loop rather than spending tool durability on scenery. The achievement is an interaction puzzle, not a resource node that benefits from hitting every object.
When the last accepted piece is placed, pause for the task state and achievement notification to update. Give dialogue or a short animation time to complete before flying away. A delayed overlay is not automatically evidence that you need to search the entire region again.
Avoid common Alphabet achievement mistakes
The first mistake is following a demo guide to a single letter pile. The second is searching only at eye level and missing an underside, support, or adjacent platform inside the intended radius. The third is leaving the Taxi landmark without checking whether the sign has accepted a piece or updated its state.
Another mistake is treating a missing prompt as a universal patch bug. Hotfix 0.8.7 clarifies the letters' placement; Patch 0.8.10 separately fixes placing them when the game uses Spanish (Latin America), while regular Spanish already worked. Check the language setting, active objective, and sign before reporting a placement failure.
Finally, do not overwrite your only save while repeatedly testing an unclear state. Save at a safe location before the activity if possible, keep a screenshot of the sign and quest text, and record the build number. Clear evidence is more useful than repeating an uncertain pickup loop.
Troubleshoot a letter that seems absent
Verify that you are at the Taxi sign, that the sign visibly needs pieces, and that your search remains within its immediate surroundings. Repeat the three-dimensional loop: same level, lower surfaces, then upper edges. Return to the sign after each sweep so its live state, rather than a guide's list, tells you whether a piece remains.
If no prompt appears after a careful local sweep, reload only from a preserved safe save and repeat the prerequisite check. Then compare your installed build with the Hotfix 0.8.7 page. The official note confirms the changed distribution; it does not support a claim that the letters are all located in one old demo position.
For a reproducible issue on the current build, capture the quest text, the Taxi sign, and the area you checked. Include the game version when contacting the developer. This makes a useful report and helps this guide distinguish a genuine regression from outdated directions.
Source and review note
The changed Taxi-letter distribution is based on the official Hotfix 0.8.7 announcement. The achievement's existence is confirmed by Steam's current list of 39 achievements. Independent launch-week routes were used only to identify the Taxi sign as the player problem; this page does not copy their letter order, images, or coordinates.
The letter route was checked on September 6, 2026 for Hotfix 0.8.7. On September 26, the language-specific placement fix was reviewed against the official 0.8.10 note; this does not claim a new search-radius test. Use the sign, journal, and live prompt to confirm your current state.
